BabyCry Privacy Policy
BabyCry is an app for parents and caregivers. It listens for signs of baby crying and can fade calming audio into the parent's headphones. The purpose is to help the adult stay calm while comforting the child.
Microphone use
BabyCry uses the iPhone microphone to analyse sound on the device. Microphone access is used only to detect audio patterns that may indicate baby crying.
Audio data
BabyCry does not record, store, or upload microphone audio. Audio analysis is intended to run locally on the iPhone. EJ Investment AS does not receive audio files or live microphone streams from the app.
Personal data
The current BabyCry app does not require an account and is not intended to collect names, addresses, payment information, contacts, photos, location, or child profile data.
Diagnostics and support
If you contact us for support, we process your email address and the contents of your message to answer the request. If crash reporting or analytics are added in a future version, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before release.
Third parties
BabyCry may use Apple system frameworks for microphone permission, audio playback, and sound analysis. BabyCry does not sell personal data.
Important limitation
BabyCry is not a baby monitor, medical device, emergency alert system, or safety-critical service. It should not be relied on to monitor a child or replace adult supervision.
Collaboration
BabyCry is a collaboration with CoPro. If future versions involve data sharing with a collaboration partner, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
